Dr. Scott Katzman, MD

Dr. Scott Katzman is a board-certified practitioner in orthopedic surgery. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and did his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Arizona. As the leading orthopedic surgeon in the U.S., Dr. Katzman has dedicated his practice to helping patients receive the best treatment using minimally invasive techniques. He is an expert in artificial cervical disc replacements and has successfully performed over 250 disc replacements to date.

Dr. Michael Thomas, MD

Dr. Michael Thomas is a board-certified neurological surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Oklahoma State University and received his B.A. in Biology at William Jewell College. Currently, he is recognized as a leading U.S. spine and brain surgeon. He brings to OLSS a vast amount of skill and experience regarding trauma to the spine and brain.

Dr. Monica McPhail-Pruitt, MD

Dr. Monica is an expert in anesthesiology and an important part of the OLSS surgical team. She completed her medical degree at Northwestern University and served her residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Apart from administering anesthesia, she also provides preoperative pain management, making the therapeutic procedures at OLSS a breeze.

Dr. Lewjack Dorrance, PA- C

Dr. Lewjack is a licensed physical assistant in the State of Florida. He earned his B.A. from the University of North Carolina and later attended Duke University’s Physician Assistant program, graduating with honors. With 23 years of experience in orthopedic surgery — particularly knee, hip and shoulder — Dr. Lewjack has been helping OLSS patients receive the best care and treatment.
